Poing's oldest kindergarten is open again: the Catholic kindergarten on Endbachweg.
After months of internal problems and construction delays, the new start has now been made.
Poing - what a celebration that would have been: Poing's oldest kindergarten reopened after three years in which it was housed in a temporary facility in a completely new building.
There is space for 100 girls and boys (four groups with 25 children each).
For two reasons, the Catholic kindergarten on Endbachweg, which was inaugurated on May 1, 1969, initially started its operations only small and quiet.
Firstly, due to Corona, no party is currently possible, and secondly: the kindergarten had to be temporarily closed in August 2020 after internal problems with the old staff (numerous employees had quit at the same time).
The children who attended the facility at that time were distributed to other daycare centers in Poing.

Now everything is new.
The new building on Endbachweg opened on June 1st - with four girls and three boys.
In September, at the start of the new kindergarten year, more will follow, so that a second group will be opened, reports the new head Annalena Rutzmoser.
“The entire team has been looking forward to the opening for several weeks.
We were full of motivation and anticipation before the first day of daycare.
The children were just as excited and excited as we were and explored the new house with great enthusiasm, ”reports the 23-year-old.

On the first day, “moment collectors treasure chests” were tinkered with the children.
Every child can keep mementos from kindergarten in their own treasure chest: a beautiful stone from the large garden, a photo from a kindergarten party or other things.
If it is possible again due to the corona, the new kindergarten building should actually be celebrated with a party, announces head Annalena Rutzmoser.

The building, which is very bright inside, is located on Endbachweg on the south side of the railway embankment in the same place as the old one, and is built under an earth wall, which serves as a noise protection from the railway line running next to it.

The total of four group rooms face south towards the large garden. In addition to the blue group, which has been in operation since June 1st, the yellow group will start in September for the new kindergarten year. According to the facility manager, Rutzmoser, there are currently around 30 boys and girls registered for the new Kiga year. Registration is still possible, information is available on the Internet at www.kita-verbund-poing-anzing-forstinning.de. "We look forward to every registration," says Annalena Rutzmoser. Not only about this, but also about applications: "We are still looking for an educator, pedagogical specialist or childhood educator."
