A large amount of Biontech is inoculated.

St. Wolfgang - 694 citizens were vaccinated against the corona virus at the “Astra-Ü40 vaccination” last weekend in St. Wolfgang's Goldachhalle.

The organizers see this as a success.

"It should have been more," said the St. Wolfgang general practitioner Udo Hahn in an interview with our newspaper.

Because up to 3000 people could have been vaccinated with the Astrazeneca vaccine on the two days.

"But that's not it yet," announced Hahn.

He and his colleagues are planning on the weekend, 12./13.

June, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. another big vaccination campaign.

In the process, “a large amount of Biontech will be inoculated according to a tried and tested pattern,” explains co-organizer Chrysovalantis Kantzeloglou.

The two general practitioners explain that it is not yet possible to give further details.

You are already fully in the planning.

Hahn reports that the Astra vaccine can be kept until at least the end of July.

Over 1000 doses are needed for the second Astrazeneca vaccinations after the over 40s campaign and in the practices.

What is left over, they want to donate to an African country.

"We are very happy to have convinced many people to get vaccinated with Astra," says Hahn. Everyone involved “shares the positive energy that we received from the vaccinated people. That is our reward and motivation. ”It is about protecting as many people as possible against a severe Covid-19 infection with a vaccination as quickly as possible. Hahn, Kantzeloglou and their practice teams from the “General Practitioners in Isental” take this task very seriously and put a lot of commitment and free time into this goal. Everyone who was there is highly motivated and wants to continue in the fight against the corona virus.

The two general practitioners from St. Wolfgang and Dorfen also presented a donation from the vaccination campaign of 4000 euros to the St. Wolfgang fire brigade.

“Of course we were there with full vigor.

And we would have lifted more.

We'll be back then, ”assures Commander Florian Axenböck.

He gratefully accepted the donation check: “I wouldn't have expected that.” Hahn thanked him for the great support.

The money will be used for the first responder of the armed forces. "Somehow it fits together," said the commander.
