Many Germans want to go on vacation again in June.

How good that some countries in Europe are now loosening a few corona rules.

Summer is just around the corner and many are thirsting for a relaxing beach holiday in the sun.

In order to make traveling even more attractive, many countries such as Italy, Spain or Austria are loosening their corona measures.

But it doesn't work completely without rules: In many places you still need a test certificate or entry forms.

You must also note that most European countries are still risk areas from the point of view of the Robert Koch Institute.

You can find out here which relaxations have been made and what needs to be considered when entering the country.

Italy vacation in June: These relaxations apply now

On June 1, the corona restrictions were eased enormously in three Italian regions. According to the Corona traffic light, which is used in Italy, the

regions Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Molise on the Andria and the island of Sardinia are again "white zones"

. This means that the 7-day incidence there has been below 50 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants for three weeks. Those who stay there only have to comply with the mask requirement and the rules of distance. The regions of Veneto, Liguria and Abbruzzo are to follow next week. If the number of infections continues to fall, the other regions of Italy should also become “white zones” by the end of the month.

Since June 1, restaurants have been able to welcome guests indoors again, and from June 7, the curfew will not apply until midnight.

From June 21st, the curfew could be lifted completely.

Entry rules

: If you want to travel to Italy, you must first complete an online registration and inform the responsible health department within 48 hours.

In addition, a negative PCR or antigen rapid test that is not older than 48 hours is required.

There is only an exception to the compulsory test for vaccinated and convalescent people when they travel to Sardinia.

so-called "corridor countries"

to Malta is permitted - this includes Germany.

Upon entry, all travelers over five years of age must present a “Passenger Location Form” and a negative PCR test that is not older than 72 hours.

Instead of the negative PCR test, a Maltese vaccination certificate with a QR code can be presented, as the Federal Foreign Office informs.

further smaller relaxations are to

follow: a maximum of eight adults per group of visitors will be allowed in the indoor area of restaurants and 16 adults in the outdoor area - children are not included, and there are no restrictions on the number of households. In addition, the minimum distance between groups of guests in accommodation is reduced to one meter.

Entry rules

Entry rules

: In addition to the test, vaccination or recovery certificate, travelers must fill out an electronic form from the Turkish Ministry of Health.

This is checked upon entry.
