The Lebanese army arrested six armed men in the port area of Tripoli, northern Lebanon, on charges of shooting and seizing various weapons in their possession.
In a statement issued today, the Lebanese Army Command stated that, during the raid on the gunmen's homes, an army force seized two military pistols, 6 hunting rifles, a grenade, military equipment and ammunition of various calibers.
Last month, the Lebanese army arrested five armed men in the Bab al-Tabbaneh area of Tripoli, and seized military weapons during a raid on their homes.
