According to the information, the Legislative Council usually lasts two or three months during the summer vacation. However, there are practical considerations for arranging a one-month short break this time, because Article 14 of Part B of the Rules of Procedure stipulates that every meeting of the Legislative Council shall be held at the date and time determined by the President of the Legislative Council; the same meeting The two consecutive meetings during the period cannot be separated by more than 6 weeks, so the arrangements for this time are just in line with the regulations.
