Paris better student than the rest of France in terms of rental evictions which are again authorized since this week?
This is what claims Ian Brossat, deputy mayor of Paris, in charge of housing.

We therefore turned to the Abbé-Pierre Foundation, which publishes such statistics each year in its report on poor housing.
At the national level, the number of rental evictions has indeed increased between 2009 and 2019 (we have excluded the year 2020 which, due to the extension of the winter break, is not significant with only 3,500 evictions) , but by 57% (!).
There were 10,662 in 2009 and 16,700 in 2019, according to figures from the Ministry of Justice relayed by the Foundation.
