"The man penetrates, the woman is penetrated."
Thus is introduced the new show by Pierre Notte,
Je te pardonne (Harvey Weinstein)
, on the site of the Théâtre du Rond-Point, where it is performed from June 1 to 29.
The director wrote, set to music and set up this cabaret-trial, in which he plays the role of the fallen film producer.

On stage, three actors, Pauline Chagne, Marie Notte (Pierre's sister) and Clément Walker-Viry accompany the playwright in this tragicomic catharsis.
Presented as a vengeful plea in favor of women victims of sexism, sexually constrained and morally dominated, the show brings
"to the bar
[...]
the witnesses of the carnage"
generated by the man and that the character of Harvey Weinstein crystallizes.
Follow one another
"a Sofitel maid, an abused star, a thirteen-year-old girl ... Christiane Taubira or Élisabeth Badinter
[who]
impose themselves as lawyers for the plaintiffs"
, presents the press release.
As the show progresses, the producer sees his body transform:
“Breast, buttocks, atrophy of the genitals.
Her feminine part takes over. "
The stake of the show: to forgive, or not, the vile character.
To do this, the People's Court is at work.
The spectators, wisely seated in their seats, will have to decide.

This cabaret also celebrates the long awaited reopening of this institution, directed by Jean-Michel Ribes. While it was originally to be held on a smaller stage - in front of thirty to forty people - the play finally enjoys the large space of the Renaud-Barrault room. A challenge both exciting and terrifying for Pierre Notte, especially since, as he confided in our columns, the show was created on April 30 in front of two people.
