At about 11 am today (5th), the police received a report stating that a woman was hit by a tram while crossing King's Road in North Point near Fortress Hill Station. The woman was caught under the tram and was trapped for a while.
Firefighters arrived to rescue her, and she was sent to hospital by ambulance.
At the scene, blood stains were left on the ground and the front of the tram was sunken.
The police are investigating the case.
