Starting next week, drivers between Holzkirchen and Föching will have to be prepared for disabilities: Half of the main road will be closed due to construction work.
Föching
- The district of Miesbach is carrying out a ceiling construction project on the district road MB 4 in Föching from Monday, June 7, 2021.
The measure is divided into two construction phases.
The first extends from the roundabout at MB 9 (Nordspange) to the entrance to Föching.
The second begins at the southern entrance to the village and ends at the entrance to the MB 14, the entrance to the industrial park.
As reported by the Miesbach District Office, preliminary work such as the curb stone renovation will begin on both construction areas with a half-way barrier and traffic lights.
The asphalt surface is then milled off and cleaned.
After inserting a geogrid reinforcement, the new road surface will be installed with full closure.
The district road MB 4 can still be used on one side.
The road is only completely closed for a few days for asphalting.
This is expected to be the case from Monday, July 5, 2021.
According to the district office, the measure should be completed in the second week of July if the weather is good.
The diversions are signposted.
