Bicycle traffic
The two MEPs chalked up a bicycle traffic hearing of the transport committee in the state parliament last February as a success.
The hearing was arranged at Büchler's request.
Members of parliament discussed the potential of cycling and the state's options for action with experts.
Result: The condition of the cycling infrastructure in Bavaria is bad and extensive improvement is necessary, said Büchler.
"We are currently preparing a draft for a wheel law," said the green traffic expert from Oberschleißheim.
In addition, his party continues to drive the pilot cycle route from Munich to Garching and Unterschleißheim.

Speed limits
Since March there have been new speed limits on the A 8 and A 995. Köhler and Büchler submitted an application to the state parliament for more noise protection along the motorways near Unterhaching and Taufkirchen. In it they called for a speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour for cars. This application was "formally rejected, but still implemented", explains Büchler. However, Transport Minister Kerstin Schreyer (CSU) also claims the success of the new speed limits for herself: the current speed limits have nothing to do with the Green's request, the ministry said when asked by Münchner Merkur. The reason for the new speed restrictions were therefore investigations as part of a noise action plan in 2017, i.e. even before the Green Party applied for it. "Many improvements that appeal to the Greens,I have already implemented it for the district, ”emphasizes Kerstin Schreyer.

In the past Corona year, the Greens members of the state parliament clearly noticed the "weaknesses and injustice" in the field of education.
They had "numerous round tables" with parents' councils and discussions with rectors.
They introduced the results to the state parliament.
Claudia Köhler from Unterhaching also fought for better pay for teachers: "After a long period of insistence, there are finally more teachers, better pay for primary and secondary school teachers is being tackled and the urgently needed jobs for youth social work in schools are being implemented," said Köhler .
Helicopter squadron
With inquiries, the MPs would put pressure on the government to prevent another helicopter squadron in Oberschleißheim.
Bavarian police helicopters are to pull from Munich Airport to Oberschleißheim airfield.
The Federal Police's flight squadron is already housed there.
