A hundred lawyers reported to justice on Friday a leaflet from the National Rally which presents unaccompanied foreign minors "as delinquents".

They ask several Parisian prosecutors to act against “incitement to discrimination and hatred”.

On this leaflet circulated in view of the departmental elections in the Yvelines, the RN affirms that unaccompanied minors are "responsible for the explosion of insecurity" and cost too dear to the State, announcing a figure well beyond the reality. “Rather than financing unaccompanied foreign minors, (…) we will invest more in the education of our children, the well-being of our elders and the integration of people with disabilities”, it is also written.

For this hundred lawyers, the prospectus constitutes a "provocation to discrimination, to hatred against these minors because of their origin", summarized Me Emmanuel Daoud, co-editor of the report who quotes in particular article 24 of the law of July 29, 1881. The leaflet "stigmatizes unaccompanied minors as delinquents who would cost the departmental communities dearly to the detriment of the French", denounced Me Daoud who sent the report to several Parisian prosecutors including those of Nanterre, Versailles and Créteil. He refuses that "hate speech is trivialized in the public space".

The prosecutors seized can decide to open an investigation or not.

Contacted by AFP, the Créteil prosecutor's office said it was studying the report.

For their part, the prosecution of Nanterre and Versailles were not able to confirm its reception on Friday evening.
