At the pool in the toddler area, a water-spouting snake now ensures fun for the little ones.
The pool has been open again since the beginning of the Whitsun holidays.
So far around 4000 visitors have been counted.

- The outdoor pool can be used again since the first Saturday of the Whitsun holidays - in compliance with the applicable Corona rules.
According to pool manager Gerd Felder, a maximum of 2000 people - 1800 paying guests and 200 active members of the clubs - are allowed daily on the 30,000 square meter area with its 3800 square meters of water.
Thanks to a camera at the exit that counts everyone who leaves the bathroom, it can be determined with pinpoint accuracy that there will be no more.
So far around 4000 guests have been counted.
Even on the cold days of the first week of vacation, it was around 200 a day.
The warmer second week has increased this significantly.
There were around 1,600 guests on Corpus Christi day.
The parents of smaller children could look forward to a new attraction for the first time: a water-spouting colorful snake that lolls in the sun on one side of the pool edge.
Stadtwerke boss Roland Schmid and pool manager Gerd Felder presented the queue on Friday and drew attention to further innovations in the area of toddlers.
For a total of around 175,000 euros, it wasn't just the play equipment that was purchased.
The two round pools for the little bathers were given new surface foils and the entire surrounding sunbathing area was newly paved and enlarged.
At the presentation, Mayor Andreas Haas was not only enthusiastic about the children's area: “We just have a beautiful outdoor pool.
And people enjoy it. ”Haas added that it was nice that a bit of normalcy had returned.
From the point of view of the pool manager Felder, the previous operation ran without any problems. The hygiene concept, which had already been tried and tested in the previous year, works perfectly. And you can also rely on the sensible behavior of the guests. They also kept the rules of distance in the swimming pool on their own. The fact that the wave pool has to remain without waves for the time being is manageable. Now the pool is used as a completely normal swimming pool - and because of the shallow water depth when entering, especially by parents with small children.
The redesign of the entrance area has also proven to be helpful for operations. The clear separation of input and output prevents unwanted tightness when there is a lot of work. The admission control itself runs smoothly. The visitors have to give their name and address, then they can go to the cash register and the bathroom without any further waiting times.
