The Karate training centers of the Tishreen Club for young age groups in Lattakia witnessed a remarkable development in the level of performance and results in local tournaments during the past years.
In a statement to SANA Sports Bulletin, coach Yasser Baghdad said, "The training centers affiliated with the club have proven their success in the number of players and the development of their technical levels, as this was evident through the good results achieved by the players in various local tournaments, the most recent of which is the Republic Championship for clubs and sports houses for the age groups under 14, 16 and 18 years old. This year, with the participation of most clubs, Tishreen won second place in the overall standings.
Baghdad added that the summer schools in these centers constitute a strong addition to their work, as they received a huge turnout for playing the game, especially by young age groups, pointing to the excellence of the club's cadres in the training work, where the school and its training centers are supervised by a group of scientific experts in training.
Baghdad indicated that the aim of the school is to attract and attract young age groups and to invest these human resources in a good way to be a substitute for the club's teams in local championships and a basic nucleus in Syrian sports through the national teams.
