The “Our Children” series, which has been issued by the Syrian General Book Organization since 2015, allows talented children to continuously participate in it with their creativity in the field of storybooks and drawings. Part of the publications of this series is dedicated to them under the name of Creative Children.
Among the children’s products recently published by “Our Children”, we find the story “Colors” written by the child Sham Khiti and the drawings of the child Maya Al-Sayed. It tells about the little Lapis who found that the colors suddenly disappeared from her life and everything became dull, so she started looking for the reason to meet the spectrum of an old man who tells her that the reason for this The enemy's occupation of the Syrian Golan, expressing his confidence that we will liberate this precious spot.
In the story “I and the Moon” for the child Ahmad Al-Sheikh and the drawings of Karim Abu Dargham, we read about the student Ahmad, who was assigned by his class teacher to write a topic about the moon, so he asks his father and tells him how the moon has many great benefits in the tides and the completion of plant growth and the calculation of years.
The story of the “seller of tissues” for the child Zulfikar Diop tells about the two friends, Maher and Shehab, and how they met Amer, who sells boxes of tissues to help his family secure their daily food, as he convinced them to return to school to complete his education.
While the child Jennifer Sable, in the story "The Gang of Socks", which she wrote and painted, relied on the humorous style and explored dream worlds in which children have their own worlds.
As for the story “Sami’s Glass Ball”, written and drawn by the child, Cyrine Mishmish, it talked about the journey of a young child inside a glass ball that transported him to other worlds and met new friends.
The story of the “little hero” of the child, Nawar al-Shahf, and the drawings of the sun’s light, Abu al-Khair, were based on humanity. The young wolf helped Wanda, the daughter of the King of the Wolves, to return to her father’s house after his daughter’s disappearance made him angry and frightened the forest animals, but he quickly regained his nature when he saw his daughter in his hands.
