Congress is expected to receive a detailed report from the Department of Defense and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence later this month that will report - in much more detail than ever before - what the Government knows about the objects. unidentified flyers (UFOs).

read it ahead of time and wrote this startling wonder to its story:

"US intelligence officials have found no evidence that the aerial phenomena that Navy pilots witnessed are alien spacecraft, but they still cannot explain the unusual movements that have puzzled scientists and the military, according to US administration officials. High-ranking reports on the findings of a long-awaited government report. '

OKAY.

So, based on that information we know that:

1) There is no evidence that the various UFO sightings over the years are extraterrestrial.

2) The United States Government has no idea what these aircraft are, in fact.

Which is, well, a little short?

For how could the Government conclusively rule out the possibility of alien spacecraft when they know that the sightings "do not come from any US military technology or any advanced US Government technology" and have no way of explaining the movements of these UFOs?

The plot thickens even more!

Here's what CNN reported after the

“US intelligence officials have found no evidence to confirm that the unidentified flying objects that US Navy pilots have encountered in recent years were alien spacecraft.

But they have also not come up with a definitive assessment of what these mysterious objects might be, according to five sources familiar with the findings of an upcoming UFO report that is expected to be delivered to Congress later this month.

"According to three of those sources, the report does not rule out the possibility that they are alien spacecraft."

Which, honestly, makes a lot more sense.

Because if the United States Government a) does not know what these ships are and b) does know that they are not some type of technology - secret or otherwise - that they have been working on, then it is very difficult to swallow the conclusion that under no circumstances can be extraterrestrial.

Of course, none of that means that these ships are of extraterrestrial origin. They may be the work of a foreign power like Russia or China. Or that our own government is simply not willing to be completely open about what technology it is working on and why. (Remember that the government carried out a massive disinformation campaign for decades with the aim of stopping even mention of UFO sightings.)

To be honest, I remain skeptical that there are aliens manning these UFOs that have been seen in the skies these past few years.

But the Government's attempt to twist this report - and make no mistake, that is what is happening here - to suggest that we can say conclusively that these spacecraft were not of extraterrestrial origin seems a bit suspicious.

What is the truth that this report seems to reveal?

There are limits to what we know.

And we will have to get used to that.
