Also this year the city of Moosburg takes part in the international competition of the Climate Alliance.
You can cycle in the three weeks from June 27th to July 17th.
Moosburg
- Anyone who either lives in Moosburg, works there, goes to school or belongs to a Moosburg association can take part in the “Stadtradeln” campaign in Moosburg.
You can register at www.stadtradeln.de/moosburg.
It is worth cycling along, because this time too there are attractive prizes to be won by the sponsors, which will be raffled among the participants of the final event.
The special thing about Moosburg is also the social component: “Due to the recertification as a Fairtrade City, our choice this year was to purchase fair balls for the Moosburg schools.
The aim of the Fairtrade campaign is to create better trading conditions and the safeguarding of social rights for disadvantaged producers, ”says Moosburg's climate protection manager Melanie Falkenstein.
Start on June 27th
All cycling enthusiasts are cordially invited to the kick-off event on Sunday, June 27th at 10.30 a.m. on Kastulusplatz.
After the welcome by Mayor Josef Dollinger and 3rd Mayor Michael Stanglmaier, the campaign begins with an ecumenical blessing of bicycles and a subsequent short bicycle tour.
It is possible to obtain current cycling maps and protective bicycle saddle covers on site.
