Today, Homs firefighters extinguished five fires that broke out with dry herbs and trees in separate areas of the governorate.
The commander of the Homs Fire Brigade, Brigadier Hassan Ammar, stated that the members of the regiment put out two fires that broke out with dry herbs and trees in Al-Khrab Street in the Al-Waer neighborhood and near the military gas station at the southern entrance to Homs, in addition to two grass fires in the Al-Kuthib cemetery in the city of Homs and on the lands of Zaidel village in the eastern Homs countryside.
In turn, the Director of the Civil Defense in Homs, Brigadier General Ghiath Aqel, stated that the members of the branch, in cooperation with the people, put out a fire that broke out in grasses, lands harvested from wheat and olive trees in the town of Hodeidah in the western countryside of Homs.
