The Queen hits the next scandal: Again, the British royal family is accused of racism.

Newly discovered documents show explosive "special rules".

London - "We are not a racist family", William defended the British royal family at the beginning of the year.

For the first time, open racism allegations went through the international media.

The scandal was triggered by the much-noticed interview between the two royal family dropouts, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.

They talked to the American talk show legend Oprah about the pressure within the royal family, about mental health and also about racist statements.

The latter is said to have come specifically from an unnamed family member.

The scandal hit Buckingham Palace with full force and even elicited a public statement from Queen Elizabeth herself.

But no sooner has the smoke subsided than the next accusations boil up.

Racism allegations against the Queen: explosive documents on the employment of "colored immigrants or foreigners"

The British newspaper

The Guardian

has been researching the

hidden influence of the Queen on British law and an “obscure parliamentary procedure” by the royal family

for some time

. While searching through the national archives, they came across explosive documents on the employment of “colored immigrants or foreigners”.

The papers describe how the Queen's chief financier made it clear to the servants that it was actually not the practice to allow “colored immigrants or foreigners” to hold clerical positions in the palace.

On the other hand, they were allowed to serve as servants or household staff.

This “law” is said to have applied in Buckingham Palace until the late 1960s, including under Queen Elizabeth.

A formulation that should undoubtedly raise new accusations of racism.

Exception rules for the Queen: Controversial legal clauses exposed

In addition, there are opaque and controversial legal clauses that the royal family negotiated in order to circumvent certain laws.

That the Queen has a special status in the British legal system should come as no great surprise.

But the palace also seems to have circumvented various equality laws that have been introduced in Great Britain since the 1960s.

Actually, for example, those affected can sue if they are not hired because of their origin, gender or skin color.

This is not the case with employees of the Queen.

So far it is not clear until when the questionable laws were in effect.

Buckingham Palace has also not yet commented on the allegations.
