The British newspaper, The Times, revealed a lawsuit filed in the Supreme Court in London against the Sheikhdom of Qatar for its support of the terrorist “Al-Nusra Front” organization in Syria and its financing of millions of dollars.

And the newspaper pointed out in a report prepared by its chief investigator, Andrew Norfolk, that the sheikhdom of Qatar, which is involved in the manufacture, support, sponsorship, financing and arming of terrorism on Syrian soil, is facing a lawsuit accusing it of supporting terrorism through a secret money-laundering operation with the aim of sending hundreds of millions of dollars to the terrorist "Al-Nusra Front" organization in Syrian.

The newspaper pointed out that nine Syrians who were subjected to heavy financial losses, torture, arbitrary detention, the threat of execution and other forms of persecution from the terrorist organization “Al-Nusra Front” filed the lawsuit, which indicated the existence of a conspiracy hatched by high-ranking members of the ruling elite in Qatar who provided funds to support terrorists linked to Al-Qaeda in Qatar. Syrian.

According to what was stated in the lawsuit, a special office for the Emir of the Sheikhdom of Qatar was among the secret ways through which the funds were transferred to the terrorist "Al-Nusra Front" organization. Money laundering operations for terrorist purposes also took place through significantly exaggerated construction contracts and the purchase of property at huge prices.

The lawsuit indicated that the secret operation led by the sheikhdom of Qatar to finance terrorists in Syria was carried out under the supervision of the terrorist "Muslim Brotherhood" organization, and included meetings in Turkey between Qatari officials and members of terrorist organizations in Syria.

The Times newspaper indicated that the lawsuit identifies the names of defendants in the case of financing and supporting the terrorist "Jabhat al-Nusra" organization in Syria, including two Qatari banks and associations claiming to be charitable, in addition to wealthy businessmen and prominent politicians.

It is no secret to anyone the size of the role played by the sheikhdom of Qatar, in conjunction with the United States and the Turkish regime, in the manufacture and financing of terrorist organizations in Syria. The confessions of the officials of these regimes, in addition to the intelligence and media reports, confirm this role.

Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister of the Sheikhdom of Qatar and its former Minister of Foreign Affairs, who played a major role in the conspiracy against Syria, revealed in televised statements broadcast in October 2017, that his country provided support to terrorist organizations in Syria through Turkey in coordination with Washington and other parties, noting that the Sheikhdom of Qatar played A major role in the scheme targeting Syria.
