Five years have passed since 11-year-old rhino Rihanna gave birth to Remy, more than two years have passed since Rainey-Rafiki was born, and now it's time to expand the family once again: Today (Sunday) Rihanna gave birth to a male puppy for the third time - the 33rd rhino born on safari since Its establishment.
The caretakers at the Ramat Gan safari who had been waiting for a year and a half since Rihanna's mating process with the Atari rhino were eagerly awaiting calving and this morning when they arrived, they saw her out of the maternity ward with the tiny puppy walking beside her safely.
The safari in Ramat Gan stated that although Rihanna is already experienced in her role as a mother, her safety must be maintained and the caregivers carry out long-term follow-up of her and her newly born puppy.
Moreover, immediately after calving as is customary in the safari, the mother and the puppy will stay in the maternity ward compound in the "African Savannah", where the puppy will strengthen over time, until it emerges in a few weeks when it is more mature throughout the open field.
