Today, Iraqi forces destroyed nine hideouts of ISIS terrorists in Diyala and Salah al-Din governorates.
Spokesman for the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service Sabah al-Numan told SANA’s reporter in Baghdad that the agency’s members launched operations targeting areas east of Diyala, Salah al-Din and the Balakah region, with direct support from the Iraqi Air Force, which resulted in the destruction of five caves and four hideouts of ISIS terrorists, indicating that they were unable to Now from counting the number of dead terrorists inside the caves that were destroyed.
Al-Numan stressed that the operations against the remnants of ISIS terrorists will continue until they are completely eliminated.
Earlier today, the Iraqi Security Media Cell announced the launch of a large-scale security operation in the Tuz Khurmatu area in Salah al-Din Governorate in the center of the country to purge it of ISIS terrorists.
