Once again, the Lenggries mountain rescue service had to take care of a crashed paraglider.
A mountain biker happened to see the crash and got help.
Lenggries - On Saturday morning around 11 a.m., the Lenggries mountain rescue service received an emergency call from a mountain biker.
On his tour, the man happened to observe the crash of a paraglider on the back of the ladder mountain and immediately alerted the emergency services.
Volunteer rescuers move out with the vehicle and the rescue helicopter
The head of operations sent the first team of volunteer rescue workers from the Lenggries mountain rescue service ahead with the emergency vehicle.
Two more forces were picked up by the rescue helicopter, Christoph Murnau, which was requested, and flown to the emergency site.
Pilot suffers spinal injury and is flown to the clinic
The two teams arrived on site almost at the same time.
Together with the helicopter crew, a spinal injury was found in the crashed pilot from Hanover, who flew from the northern take-off point on Brauneck.
The 23-year-old was then pulled up in an air rescue bag on the helicopter winch and flown to the accident clinic in Murnau.
After the rescue of the umbrella, the rescue work for the mountain rescue team ended around 1 p.m.
Last weekend, the mountain rescuers from Lenggries had to move out to see a crashed paraglider pilot.
This had brushed against a tree in the area of the Schwaiger Alm and hit the ground
