The majority candidate won, with 62.1% of the vote, against Marie-Christine Bourgeois (37.9%) of the Rassemblement Nat

This is the first victory of the partial legislative majority.

The LREM Minister Brigitte Bourguignon, in charge of Autonomy to the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, won this Sunday the second round of the partial legislative elections in the 6th district of Pas-de-Calais.

The majority candidate largely won with 62.1% of the vote, against the National Rally candidate Marie-Christine Bourgeois (37.9%).

A "final score" that the minister hailed in the wake on Twitter.

"Thank you to the citizens of Pas-de-Calais who renewed their confidence in me with a clear score," she said.

With Christophe Leclercq, I will continue to provide concrete answers to the expectations of the inhabitants of this territory, with the common values that we carry.

As a reminder, the elected LREM benefited from the indirect support of the ex-LR president of the region, Xavier Bertrand, who called to “block the FN”.

An appeal to the republican front that the president of the National Rally had condemned.

“Unsurprisingly, Xavier Bertrand calls to vote for the LREM candidate.

He therefore wants one more En Marche deputy!

These LR leaders have become Emmanuel Macron's auxiliaries, ”she lambasted in a tweet.

This result was closely scrutinized, right up to the top of the state.

A few weeks before the regional elections, which promise to be lively in Hauts-de-France, this election looked like a dress rehearsal, while the presidential party placed one of its ministers on the starting line.

Low participation expected

The second round of four partial legislative elections was scheduled for Sunday in Pas-de-Calais, Oise, Paris and Indre-et-Loire: a test before the regional and departmental at the end of June despite the low participation expected.

In Paris, in the XXth arrondissement, a duel opposes as in 2017 the PS and LFI in a 15th district very anchored to the left, the last of the capital kept by the Socialists.

Unsurprisingly, Victor Habert Dassault (LR) won the by-election for the first constituency of the Oise.

The 28-year-old lawyer won easily, collecting 80.41% of the votes cast, against the candidate of the National Rally (RN), Claire Marais-Beuil (19.59%).

He succeeds his uncle, Olivier Dassault, who died on March 7 in the crash of his helicopter in Touques (Calvados).

In the 3rd constituency of Indre-et-Loire, where only 18.07% of the voters turned out in the first round, Sophie Métadier (45%), mayor of Beaulieu-lès-Loches, invested by the UDI and LR and supported by LREM, approached the ballot in the position of favorite.

Several results are still expected in the evening.
