Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced Sunday "with immense joy" the birth of their second child, Lilibet "Lili" Diana, born Friday morning in a hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
Lilibet was named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex explain in a statement.
Her middle name, "Diana", pays homage to Prince Harry's mother, Princess Diana.

Meghan Markle and her daughter, who weighs nearly 3.5 kilos and is in eighth place in the order of succession,
"are in good health,"
the statement said.
"She is much more than anything we could have imagined,
" write Harry and Meghan of their two-year-old son Archie's little sister.

" to Harry and Meghan after the birth of their daughter
Prince Harry, 36, sixth in the order of succession to the British crown, and Meghan Markle have withdrawn from the royal family, effectively since April 2020.
