A rear-end collision with four participating cars on Saturday afternoon near Hörlkofen still went off relatively lightly.
Hörlkofen - According to a report by the Erdinger police, an 18-year-old from Hohenlinden was on the road with her Audi on St 2331 from Erding towards Hörlkofen around 4.30 p.m. At the junction with Ziegelstrasse, she slowed down to turn left. The road users driving behind her, an 18-year-old from Hohenlinden with his Skoda and a 33-year-old forester in his Audi, recognized the intention of the 18-year-old in good time and braked their cars to a standstill. A 27-year-old from Hörlkofen, who was also driving her Hyundai in the direction of Hörlkofen, recognized the situation too late and drove into the forester's car. His car was pushed onto the Hohenlindener’s vehicle. This in turn crashed into the car of the turning woman.
The co-driver of the person who caused the accident complained of pain in her chest and spine and was taken to the Erding Clinic by ambulance for further clarification. The 27-year-old's vehicle had to be towed. All other cars remained ready to drive. The police put the total property damage at around 20,000 euros. The Hörlkofen fire brigade removed the rubble from the road and took care of cleaning the road with the Erding road maintenance department.
