Al-Hasakah city council received today a set of equipment and supplies for cleaning workshops, gardens and health affairs, provided by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The head of the SARC branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the equipment provided comes within the framework of supporting the work of Hasaka City Council in order to improve the reality of services provided to the people and help preserve the environment, stressing that the Crescent branch will continue to provide support to the city council in order to advance the service reality.
For his part, the head of the city council, Eng. Adnan Khajo, indicated that the supplies provided include the needs of the hygiene department in the district, including sewage pumps, garbage carts, street sweepers, and buckets, in addition to some other equipment. Pesticides in addition to some spare parts for the Council's mechanisms.
He pointed out that in parallel with the support provided by the Crescent and the Committee, a project is also being implemented to equip the temporary landfill behind Souk Al-Hal with an area of 3 dunums, in addition to equipping the municipal slaughterhouse in the Aziziyah neighborhood and providing insecticides, stressing the importance of the support provided in improving the reality of services provided to citizens and overcoming the difficulties that were encountering The work of the directorates of the Council.
