Rejoicing in the success of the constitutional merit and the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad as President of the Republic, the tribes of Al-Mayadin held a popular event with the participation of delegations from all clans, which included reciting poems and an artistic concert performed by a group of young artists.
The participants in the event, which was held yesterday evening, carried the national flags and pictures of Dr. Al-Assad in an atmosphere of joy with holding Dabkeh circles, chanting slogans expressing the love of the homeland.
The participants affirmed the tribesmen’s adherence to the national constants and the unity and integrity of the Syrian soil, reiterating their confidence in the liberation of the entire Syrian lands from terrorism and the expulsion of the American occupier and his henchmen from the lands of the Syrian Jazira, noting that the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad in the presidential elections and the achievement of the constitutional merit confirm the return of security and stability to Syria and evidence of strength The recovery of the Syrian state and the independence of its national decision.
In interviews with SANA’s reporter, Sheikh Ghadif Halil Al-Hamoud, the sheikh of the Al-Boujamil clan, who came from the occupied Syrian Al-Jazira areas to share the joys of the people of Al-Mayadin on this occasion, confirmed that the leader Al-Assad is the choice of the people of Syria with all their components, as he is the one who has persevered, been patient, triumphed, and preserved dignity and national sovereignty, pointing to the rejection of the tribesmen Arab American presence in the Syrian island.
Sheikh Mahmoud al-Rayes from the Al-Bosraya tribe indicated that the celebration came to express the joy of the tribesmen's victory in the presidential elections and their affirmation of standing behind his wise leadership, raising the slogan of hope to work as a title for the next stage.
Sheikh Mutashar al-Ajil, the sheikh of the Juhish al-Zubaidiya clan, said that the election results reflect the hopes and aspirations of the Syrians who wish to complete the return of security and stability to the entire Syrian territory, stressing that the next stage is a stage of giving, work, and harnessing energies for the sake of Syria's renaissance to return better than it was.
The mayor of Al-Mayadin city, Abdul Hadi Al-Duwaihi pointed out that the achievement of the elections was a message to the world that the Syrians alone decide the future of their country away from foreign interference and that Dr. Al-Assad was the choice for all Syrians.
Ibrahim al-Hatroush, the mayor of al-Quriah, affirmed that Dr. Assad is the leader of Syria by a popular decision issued by the sons of the country, who exchanged loyalty for their leader and expressed, through their participation in voting, their adherence to the leader who did not abandon his people and land and remained faithful to the principles of Syria, the land of civilization and history.
