The corrected exams were lost, but he still awarded grades: Armin Laschet's teaching at RWTH Aachen ended ingloriously. According to a media report, he did not mention her on his résumé.

According to a report by the news portal "t-online", the official résumé of the CDU chancellor candidate Armin Laschet has a gap.

Accordingly, Laschet did not indicate his teaching activity at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen from 1999 to 2015.

The information is missing in his official curriculum vitae on the website of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and on the CDU website.

In 2015 it became known that Laschet, as a lecturer at RWTH Aachen University, had reconstructed grades from recordings after the corrected exams had been lost.

He then resigned from his longstanding teaching position.

According to "t-online", Laschet made another inaccuracy: Both the curriculum vitae on the website of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the curriculum vitae for the application for the CDU chairmanship contain the information that Laschet is a member of the board of directors of the "Society for the Award of the International Charlemagne Prize Aachen".

Obviously, this is no longer correct.

According to the news site, the company said that Laschet had already left the body on October 31, 2020.

The CDU politician is also no longer listed on the Charlemagne Prize website.

The State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia has not yet commented on »t-online«, but has announced a statement.

Baerbock was also criticized for his resume

The Greens' candidate for chancellor, Annalena Baerbock, had previously come under fire for inaccurate information in her résumé.

After the party had already specified incorrect statements about Baerbock's membership in organizations over the weekend, information on the candidate's party website was again adjusted on Monday.

This time it is about Baerbock's many years of work as the office manager of the green MEP Elisabeth Schroedter.

As the »Welt« reported, Baerbock had recently stated that he had worked for Schroedter in Brussels from 2005 to 2008.

According to the newspaper, however, Schroedter's website stated that Baerbock was in charge of the offices in Berlin and Potsdam until August 2007, and later was the contact person in Brussels and Strasbourg.

Now the party has apparently removed the information at the newspaper's request.

The current version only states that Baerbock was Schroedter's office manager from 2005 to 2008.

A place of use is no longer mentioned.

"Ms. Baerbock was first in Germany, then in Brussels," a Green spokeswoman made clear to the newspaper on Saturday.
