After the family doctors, the company doctors in Bavaria are now also getting into the corona vaccinations.
But there is criticism at the start.
Munich - At the start of regular vaccinations by company doctors, the Bavarian economy complains about the scarce vaccine. "The companies have been in the starting blocks for a long time and are very well prepared," said Bertram Brossardt, the general manager of the Association of Bavarian Business, on Monday. However, the vbw complained that too little vaccine was still available. "We are counting on the fact that more vaccine will be delivered week after week in order to make use of the willingness of the companies and their workforce to vaccinate and thus to speed up the vaccination campaign."
Since this Monday (June 7th) company doctors have been allowed to vaccinate, but in some large companies the first delivery will not arrive until Tuesday (June 8th) or later.
Adidas, for example, assumes that the vaccine will arrive in the course of the week.
The sporting goods manufacturer set up vaccination streets at the three locations in Herzogenaurach, Scheinfeld and Rieste weeks ago, according to a spokeswoman.
Company vaccinations: Allianz, Audi, BMW and Schaeffler also want to get started
Many companies such as Allianz or Audi would have liked to start vaccinations earlier, but the federal government had set June 7th as the start date.
Prime Minister Markus Söder and Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (both CSU) had planned a visit to BMW. This week, among others, Allianz, Audi and the automotive supplier Schaeffler want to start vaccinations.
