17-year-old American Coco Gauff reached her first Grand Slam quarter-final, beating Tunisian Ons Jabeur (n.26) 6-3 6-1 in the round of 16 at Roland Garros on Monday.
Expeditious, she took advantage of a nervous start from Jabeur and never let her opponent come back into the game.
The world number 25 American wins the match in less than an hour on her fourth match point and still hasn't lost a set in the tournament.
Little surprise from this fairly open women's table, she will face the Czech Barbora Krejcikova (n.33), who swept Sloane Stephens 6-2 6-0, in the quarter-finals.
@CocoGauff won 6-3, 6-1 against Ons Jabeur.
She qualifies for the first time in her career in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam!
