(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 07 - After the lessons in EmiliaRomagna, Marche, Veneto and Molise, the eighth grade exams for about 570 thousand students start today, and this year, unlike last year, they will be in attendance. The start date of the eighth grade exams is not the same for everyone but is decided independently by the institutes, obviously also based on the end of the lessons in the territory. The exam takes place in the period between the end of the lessons and June 30th.
For 1 in 4 the tests will start immediately after the end of the elections but the wait will be short enough for almost everyone, given that for another 55% the exams will start from the following week (i.e. from June 14 onwards) and only 1 in 5 will have to wait for the second part of the month.
And tomorrow will be the turn of the last bell in Lazio and Valle d'Aosta; on the 9th in Sicily, Liguria and Umbria; on the 10th in Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Abruzzo; the day after the school will end in Basilicata, Piedmont and Puglia; on the 12th in Sardinia, Campania and Calabria; the last will be Bolzano on 16 June. To avoid gatherings outside the institutes on the last day of school, many principals have already issued circular letters with which they stagger the outputs of the children, spacing them at least an hour from each other.
The eighth grade exam includes an oral test starting from the discussion of a paper on a topic that has been assigned to each pupil and each pupil by the Council of the class by 7 May. The paper was then sent by the pupils to the class council. The paper consists of an original product, consistent with the theme assigned by the Class Council. It can be made in the form of text, multimedia presentation, film, artistic or technical-practical production. It involves one or more disciplines included in the study plan. During the oral exam the levels of command of the Italian language, of logic and mathematical skills, of foreign language skills and of skills in Civic Education will be ascertained. The final evaluation will be expressed in tenths.It will be possible to get the praise. Admission to the exam is approved by the class council. With reference to the need to have attended at least three quarters of the personalized amount per year, exceptions may be made by the Council itself, taking into account the specific situations due to the epidemiological emergency.
