It is called 'The Lake' and bears the signature of the Iranian photographer Masoud Mirzaei, the absolute winner of the 2021 edition of the Creative Photo Awards, an international competition dedicated to artistic and creative photography at the Siena awards, an international festival of visual arts.
The photo was taken on Lake Urmia located between the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, the largest in the Middle East and the sixth saltwater lake in the world, and was selected from tens of thousands of images submitted by 137 photographers Countries.
The Creative Photo Awards competition includes 19 categories open to contemporary photographers who, with an innovative approach compared to traditional photography, subvert the viewer's expectations. The first shots classified for each category will be exhibited at the 'I Wonder if You Can' exhibition during the Siena Awards festival, scheduled in Siena from 23 October to 5 December. (HANDLE).
