The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs closed, during the past month, 153 violating commercial activities, in addition to organizing 234 judicial seizures and the seizure of samples.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, said in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the number of organized judicial seizures amounted to 148, in addition to 86 sample seizures, showing that there were 20 identical samples and 22 violations, and 44 samples are still under analysis, indicating that the seizures were distributed on the non-publication of prices Not presenting invoices, refraining from selling and selling at an excessive price, service allowance, records of specifications and data, fraud and fraud, in addition to seizures of meat, records of bakeries, seizures of fuel, trade in ration flour and bread, and the display and sale of expired materials.
Al-Youssef indicated that the number of patrols that were conducted in the city during the past month amounted to 389, while the number of seizures that were settled according to Article 23 of the law is 43 seizures. A quantity of 3800 kg of ration flour was confiscated and 465 liters of diesel and 384 liters of gasoline were seized. .
