On Saturday evening, the veil investigators noticed an Italian car on the B2 at 9 p.m.
A 27-year-old Italian multimedia artist residing on Lake Tegernsee and his 26-year-old girlfriend had entered the federal territory from Italy via Austria.
During the inspection, according to a press release, the driver was extremely nervous and entangled in contradictions.
During the search, the officers found marijuana and white powder.
A drug test revealed evidence that the powder might be cocaine.
A substance analysis was commissioned from the State Criminal Police Office in Munich.
The border police confiscated the drug and initiated criminal proceedings.
Suspicious smell
The second drug owner went to the veil investigators at 11 p.m. on the B2 near Mittenwald. When the 31-year-old driver of a car with Altenkirchen license plate (Westerwald / Rhineland-Palatinate) opened his vehicle window during the inspection, the border police came across a distinct smell of marijuana. The investigators then looked closely. They then found a total of 15 grams of marijuana in the car. They also noticed typical drug failure symptoms in the driver. During the interrogation, the driver admitted that he had consumed excessively the night before. A drug test was accordingly clear. That means the man was not fit to drive. The border police stopped the journey, secured the grass and directed the drug trip,illegal possession and importation of narcotics into federal territory.
