The family of the intelligence officer who died in prison last month referred tonight (Monday) to the new details that the IDF allowed to be published, saying that the prison where the officer was being held was filmed, and that the prison was "apparently not properly maintained and expected." The State Attorney's Office and the Unit for Internal Investigations (the military equivalent of DIP) will make sense to address the matter.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, a demonstration was held for the officer in front of the Kirya in Tel Aviv.
During the demonstration, signs were erected that read, among other things, "Our children's blood is not no man's land - a commission of inquiry will be set up," and "I have a tsunami of questions."

Earlier, the IDF allowed the publication that the investigation of the officer in the intelligence unit who died in prison last month was opened due to information about a serious breach of national security. He did so for personal, not ideological, nationalist or economic reasons.
According to the IDF, the investigation also revealed that the officer was aware of the potential damage to national security as a result of his actions, and even acted to hide them.
According to the army, the death of the officer, whose identity has not yet been released, is currently being examined by a special investigation by the Internal Investigations Unit in the Personnel Division.
