The Public Housing Corporation continues to implement its work in the alternative housing towers in the second regulatory area south of the southern corridor of Basilia City for the benefit of the Damascus Governorate for 48 divided at an accelerated pace and according to the plan set by those in charge of it through the public sector companies.
The towers include 5639 apartments for 5516 eligible occupants, which are completed through public sector companies and under the supervision of the General Company for Engineering Studies.
The Director-General of the Public Establishment for Housing, Eng. Mazen Laham, explained in a statement to SANA’s delegate that the launch of the project was in October of the year 2020, and contracts have been contracted to date to implement 9 partitions with a total value of about 116 billion Syrian pounds.
While the number of exchanges in preparation for the announcement reached 8, with a total cost estimated at approximately 123 billion pounds, according to Engineer Lahham, who indicated that the project is proceeding according to the program agreed upon by the Corporation and the Damascus Governorate.
Al-Lahham referred to the actual start of six towers, in addition to three towers that are under final preparations for the commencement, as well as announcing two divisions, while 6 subdivisions remain in preparation for its announcement, pointing out that there is full commitment to the set timetable and the absence of any obstacles obstructing the current workflow.
