The new crown vaccination plan has entered its 104th day, and the number of vaccination has dropped slightly.

The government announced that 32,800 people were vaccinated today (9th), which is more than 3,000 fewer than yesterday's announcement. So far, 1.608 million people in Hong Kong have received the first dose of the vaccine.

There are 34,400 more appointments for vaccination today, which is about 200 fewer than yesterday.

In addition, yesterday (8th, Tuesday) there were another 9 cases of unwell hospitalization after vaccination. The condition is stable and 4 people have to stay in hospital for observation.

32,800 people vaccinated in a single day

The government updated the vaccination information in the evening. In the past 24 hours as of 8 pm tonight, a total of 32,800 people were vaccinated, of which 24,400 received the first shot, including 13,000 received Kexing and 11,400 received Fubitai. The number is nearly lower than yesterday 10%.

In second place, there were 8,400 people, including 3,700 people who were vaccinated with Kexing and 4,700 people who were vaccinated with Fubitai.

That is to say, about 1.61 million people in Hong Kong have already received the first dose of the vaccine, and 1.141 million people have received the two doses, and the total dose of vaccination reached 2.749 million doses.

Today, about 34,400 people have made appointments for vaccination. The numbers are similar to yesterday. 11,900 people have made appointments for Kexing vaccines and 22,500 people have made appointments for vaccination.

4 people stayed in the hospital for observation and 1 person was discharged by himself

The government also continued to announce the discomfort situation after vaccination. Yesterday, there were 9 cases in community vaccination centers or general outpatient clinics designated by the Hospital Authority and sent to hospital. They all had common side effects and were in stable condition. After being discharged from the hospital, 4 people were to stay in the hospital for observation, and one person was discharged by himself following the medical advice.
