Daraa-Sana
The two medical points in the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Daraa provided about 15,886 medical services to patients from the beginning of the year until the beginning of this month.
The head of the Crescent branch, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalma, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the services provided are free and varied between first aid, wound dressings, splints for fractures, medical examinations, in addition to distributing medicines to patients according to availability.
He added that the ambulances operating in the branch responded to about 1,608 emergency calls from citizens and transferred the cases to the specialized medical staff as soon as possible after performing the necessary first aid.
Al-Masalma explained that the branch has an emergency response center that receives around 75 patients throughout the day and provides them with emergency measures.
