The European Football Championship is coming up.
Public viewing is allowed.
But not all restaurateurs believe that the interest in the EM is excessive.
Dachau - The European Football Championship begins on Friday. Due to the infection situation, the restaurateurs are again allowed to receive guests in their indoor and outdoor areas (see box). We asked the innkeepers in the district where the games were broadcast.
At the
Zieglerbräu
in the old town, which recently attracted attention with the new concept of Bavarian-Italian cuisine (we reported), there will probably be TVs in the revitalized inner courtyard, according to landlady Andrea Schneider. Her husband Jürgen Vötter takes care of how these are placed. The landlords assure that all hygiene requirements such as distance requirements or the wearing of masks when leaving the seat are of course adhered to.
Stadtkeller
landlord Georgios Kirou does without a public viewing this time, in contrast to previous major football events.
“It's only interesting when Germany is playing.
When the others are playing, nothing is going on. ”According to the host, a survey of his regular guests showed that they could do without looking together.
Gill Rieger, owner of the
Skyline Billard Sportbar
, on the other hand, is convinced that his guests are interested in the European Championship. In his sports bar at the Rapp car dealership on Münchner Straße 87a in Dachau, Rieger broadcasts all European Championship games. In the 600 square meter indoor area of the sports bar, viewers can watch the football spectacle on four television sets and a screen. Gill Rieger, owner of the sports bar, and his team are ready to go. The screen and television are already in operation. The hygiene requirements are met, Rieger clarified this in a telephone call with the district office. "We have aligned the tables so that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters is maintained," explains Rieger. For data tracking, guests can either register digitally using the Luca app or by hand at the entrance. Rieger hopesthat the football fans not only sit with a friend at home in front of the television, but also “sit together” in his bar for the European championship.
No specific rules for public viewing
According to District Administrator Stefan Löwl, there are currently no specific rules for watching football together. It basically depends on where it takes place, i.e. whether the meeting is private or public - whereby the applicable regulations must be complied with. Public requires that the event is registered through the district office. At private meetings, for example in a restaurant, a cinema, an apartment or in a clubhouse, people have to adhere to the applicable rules. In a restaurant, for example, the names of the guests must be specified, according to Löwl. In addition, the distance rules must be observed. A mask must be worn outside of the seat. Ten people are currently allowed to meet in the home at home; Vaccinated and convalescents do not count. If a public viewing takes place in public, 100 people are currently allowed to take part.
Club members of TSV Dachau 1865 can
watch
the EM games
in the
TSV club restaurant in
compliance with the hygiene regulations.
As host Ilia Al Najar reports, he provides a large TV in the covered outdoor area of his restaurant.
The
Heimspiel - Wirtschaft restaurant at ASV Dachau is also there.
Landlord Sabur Malekzada will offer his guests a public viewing "in any case within the scope of the legal possibilities".
If there is enough demand, games will also be shown in one of the halls at the ASV.
