2021-06-09T19:48:39.833Z

Since June 9, French travelers can fly beyond Europe, to countries now classified "green" and "orange". But few still accept visitors from France. Here is the list of destinations

Very partial top start for trips beyond Europe.

While almost two thirds of the Old Continent are now accessible to French tourists, vaccinated or not, the world is opening up.

Since June 9, France has classified countries in three colors according to their epidemic situation: green (7 states in addition to Europe), orange and red (16).

Among the green countries, only Lebanon accepts the French.

It is therefore necessary to move towards destinations classified in orange, that is to say the major part of the world at the present time.

With the nuance that only the vaccinated can travel there without justifying an overriding reason, or just over 26% of the adult population, according to Public Health France.

It is also necessary that these countries authorize the arrival of the French.

But many still keep their borders closed.

And in all cases, more or less strict health protocols remain in force.

To find your way around, Le Figaro reviewed the list of non-European destinations considered to be touristy.

Conclusion: on other continents, nearly 40 states could accommodate French people vaccinated without quarantine to date.

Be careful, Covid-19 and its variants are actively circulating in certain destinations.

It is recommended to follow the advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
