DECRYPTION - Criticized and devalued for many years, this emblematic examination sees its future more than ever called into question.


Does the baccalaureate still have any value?

A recurring question, which arises all the more acutely as the 2021 baccalaureate will be issued at more than 80% on the basis of continuous assessment.

And that the experience of 2020 - where only the marks of the year had counted -, had resulted in a record success rate.

Almost 96% of the candidates had obtained the diploma, 8 points more than in 2019!

The general sector had even come close to 100% success (98.4%).

And, all routes combined, 63.5% of the laureates obtained it with a distinction.
