Someone opened the umbrella outside the store
The prosecution's opening statement stated that on November 14, 2019, a group of demonstrators gathered in Aberdeen Central Plaza.
At the time of the incident, the store "MINISO" was closed, but 3 to 4 demonstrators opened their umbrellas outside the store. Later, the number of demonstrators outside the store increased to 30-40, and some of them opened the store. The demonstrators, including the two defendants, entered the store to destroy the goods and also throw some goods out of the store.

Some police officers witnessed the passing, and after other police officers arrived at the scene for reinforcements, the demonstrators dispersed.
Police officers later arrested two defendants one after another nearby. The male defendant said under caution: "I'm going to get together in the bustle" and "I didn't gather illegally, I just passed by."
CCTV footage showed demonstrators entering the shop, including two defendants. Before the destruction, someone opened an umbrella and someone sprayed paint on the CCTV camera.
The shop lost more than 5,300 yuan in the incident.
