The administration of US President Joe Biden plans to donate 500 million doses of Pfizer's corona virus to 92 countries around the world in the next two years, Reuters reported tonight (Wednesday), according to three sources involved.
According to the report, the United States is expected to distribute 200 million vaccine doses this year, and the remaining 300 in the first half of 2022. The vaccines will reach poor countries and the African Union, through the COVAX program, the International Vaccine Sharing Program.
President Biden will announce the deal tomorrow (Thursday), at the summit of G7 leaders to be held in the UK.
