The Schuster family is playing with the idea of ​​selling the area.

There are "two or three interested parties" who are already in contact with the community, said Georg Schuster, who sits on the local council for the FDP, the Starnberger Merkur.

Mayor Marlene Greinwald does not want to confirm this:

“Not that I know of.” Schuster and his wife have not yet decided on the sale.

After all, building plots in the location are in great demand - also in the future.

She wants it that way, ”says Schuster.

The owners are deeply frustrated.

In March they wrote a letter to the local council that they would end their plans for a new tavern.

They criticized the community for "unnecessarily prolonging" the approval process.

It was quiet around the Andechser Hof for a long time, at least in the local council. At the beginning of 2019, the committee signaled broad approval for the demolition of the old buildings, a new building and a beer garden on Hauptstraße. On Tuesday it was back to the area. And again they were in agreement: the local council unanimously decided to amend the development plan. Schuster did not agree, Mayor Greinwald politely and firmly asked him to take a seat in the back because of bias. The essentials: The rear building is to be turned in a new building in order to shield the living room and bedroom from the gastronomy. Community lawyer Dr. Volker Gronefeld. According to the planner Prof. Florian Burgstaller, a “very nice green area” could be created in the south. Above all, the acoustic effects on the surrounding residential buildings are the crux of the matter in the middle of the town.

In it, the authority refers to an acoustic investigation, according to which the beer garden should only be open until 10 p.m. and there should be no ballroom and “no events with musical sound”.

In order to avoid such requirements, the area is also designated as a so-called urban area and not as a mixed area.

"We are also freer in the mix of commercial and residential", explained the lawyer Gronefeld.

Owner: "The construction prices have risen again by 10 to 20 percent since 2019."

But all of this is still gray theory. Dr. Ernst Lindl (CSU) doubts. "If you tell others how to do it, you should also enable them to do it economically," he said at the meeting.

The statements discussed on Tuesday by authorities and public bodies all come from 2019. Greinwald justifies the fact that they have only now been presented with the negotiations "with the investors" - that is, with the shoemakers.
