The silhouette lengthens by 143 mm including 46 mm in favor of the wheelbase, widens by 25 mm and is raised by 53 mm.

These new dimensions benefit rear seat passengers who benefit from more space.

The trunk accessible from a large motorized tailgate promises an increased volume of 39 liters to 470 l.

Rear seat folded down, loading capacity is extended to 1,290 liters.

The cabin is modeled on that of the 4 Series Coupe with 12.3-inch digital instrumentation and the 10.25-inch central infotainment screen whose navigation is controlled via the iDrive dial or by touching the window, like on a smartphone.

Four engines are programmed: two 2-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engines of 184 and 245 hp, a 2-liter turbo diesel 4-cylinder with 190 hp and a 3-liter turbo inline six-cylinder of 374 hp for the M440i xDrive.

The last two mechanics benefit from a 48 V micro-hybridization based on an alternator-starter providing an additional power of 11 hp.

All engines are associated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The range starts at 49,700 euros with the 420i and extends up to 68,800 euros with the six-cylinder version which benefits for the first time from the Motorsport sports label.
