As in many other district communities, Attenkirchen is to get an e-charging station.
There are several locations to choose from.
Attenkirchen
- The charging process is to be simplified for drivers of electric vehicles in the future: The creation of publicly accessible charging stations is planned in 17 rural districts.
On Monday, the Attenkirchen council also discussed a suitable place where you can charge your e-car in the future.
Electromobility is an increasingly important topic.
Both as pure electric vehicles and in the form of hybrid cars, the environmentally friendly vehicles are gaining popularity not only in Germany, but worldwide.
It is therefore essential that rural communities also gradually increase their loading capacities.
Together with the Bürger Energie Genossenschaft Freisinger Land (BEG), 17 charging stations are now being set up in various district communities.
One of them should find its place in Attenkirchen.
Multiple locations are possible
There are basically several possible locations in the community for the planned location: A charging station would be conceivable both in the village center and near the cemetery, in front of the school or at the parsonage.
The members of the municipal council carefully weighed the pros and cons, but ultimately the committee only voted on whether a charging station was generally required for cooperation with the BEG and the establishment of a charging station.
Here the council voted unanimously for it.
The exact place where electric vehicle owners can charge their car in the future will be discussed at the next municipal council meeting.
