Candidate, not candidate?
Arnaud Montebourg tried to clarify things this Thursday, June 10 at the microphone of France Inter, the day after an interview with the
Parisian
, and which cast doubt on his intentions.
After first indicating on its website that the former minister "
renounced
" to be a candidate, the regional daily finally changed the title of its content to temper the point.

And for good reason, the cantor of "
Made in France
" has therefore clarified his thinking. “
I'm not going to tell you what I'm doing because I don't know it yet. (...) I have the right to honesty and humility,
”introduced the former tenant of Bercy. "
As it stands, I am not a candidate, but that can change
", he explained, specifying that "
today
" he had not "
found the resources
" allowing him to do so, without however to rule out the hypothesis that it succeeds.
In addition, he deplores the too large number of candidates on the left.
“
I am not a candidate because I am not a candidate for the multiplication of candidates.
There are already too many
, ”he explains.
"I am working on a single candidacy for the left"
The former socialist minister, who published a column in
Le Monde
a few days ago
where he explained that he wanted to bring together the “
popular bloc
” to “
break the pincers between Macron and Le Pen
”, explained that he was working “
on a single candidacy for the left capable of bringing a solution to the country
”.
“
I am making a political proposal which is reasonable and constructive.
(...) We need to build a solution for the whole country and to rally around that,
”he explained.

"
As I participate in the public debate and I intend to influence events, I am available for this quite serious prospect of a single candidacy
" signified Arnaud Montebourg, who shows his desire to "
influence
" this presidential election.
"
Otherwise we will have candidates for testimony and the victory of the Le Pen family
," he warns.
He therefore wishes to bring out "
new political orientations
" and "
recomposed
".
“
The country is on the right on the regal and on the left on the economic and social.
We will have to have a kind of mixed policy
, ”he explains.
The return of “
at the same time
”?
