The signing ceremony of the book “The Strategic Importance of the Golan Region from the Perspective of Israel’s Security and Survival” by Iranian writer Ali Shakeri was held today in the Kawthar Building at the Iranian Presidency in Tehran, coinciding with the fifty-fourth anniversary of the usurping Zionist entity’s occupation of the Golan.

Ayatollah Muhammad Hassan Akhtari, advisor to the Iranian president and head of the Committee to Support the Palestinian People of the Iranian Presidency, stressed that the book sheds light on the strategic importance of the Golan, pointing out that publishing the book in Arabic supports just causes.

In turn, Major General Dr. Hussein Dehghan, the Revolutionary Leader’s advisor for defense affairs, stressed his assertion that the Golan is an integral part of the Syrian territory, and that the core of the Golan issue is the core of the Palestinian cause, noting the role of the resistance axis, which has reached a point of strength today that has made the enemy lose its ability to suppress, destroy and sabotage.

For his part, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Iran drew the Ambassador of Palestine, Salah Al-Zawawi, to the importance of publishing this book, noting at the same time Syria's stances on the Palestinian cause, the outcome of which paid a heavy price in the war on it over the past ten years.

In turn, Ali Shakeri, the author of the book, stressed the geopolitical importance of the Syrian Golan, pointing out that he highlighted in his book the occupied Syrian Golan, its importance, and the illegal Zionist attempts and goals towards it.

To that, the Syrian ambassador to Iran, Dr. Shafik Diop, reiterated that the Golan is Syrian Arab and will remain Arab and Syrian, and it is in the memory and heart of every Syrian citizen and will return to the last grain of its soil to Syrian sovereignty by all legitimate and available means.

In his speech during the book unveiling ceremony, Ambassador Diop noted the importance of launching the book at this time, which coincides with the fifty-fourth anniversary of the occupation of the occupied Golan by the Zionist entity, which came about ten days after the occupation authorities prevented the children of the occupied Syrian Golan from participating in the Syrian presidential elections. .

Referring to the great achievements that Syria achieved during the ten years of the war on terrorism, Ambassador Diop noted the support of allies, friends and brothers and their standing by the Syrian people in their honorable war against terrorism, expressing his optimism about the future of the resistance, which records victories after victories.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Ambassador Diop reiterated Syria's continued full support for the just Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people until all their rights are restored and the entire occupied Arab lands are liberated.

Wardi Nejad, the political aide to the Iranian president, Ali Jannati, advisor to the Iranian president, Ismail Abadi, the financial and administrative director in the Iranian presidency, Ayatollah Muhammad Hassan Akhtri, advisor to the Iranian president and head of the Support Committee for the Palestinian People, Major General Dr. Hosseinian, Assistant Foreign Minister of Iran, Director General of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Political Bureau of the Nujaba Movement in Iran, and representatives of the resistance movements in Iran and the Iranian Red Crescent.

The book was published by the Sons of the Prophet’s Cultural and Artistic Foundation, with the support and supervision of the Committee for the Protection of the Islamic Palestinian Revolution of the Iranian Presidency and the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement al-Nujaba in Iran, and it will be translated into several other languages.
