Damascus-SANA
Temperatures tend to decrease slightly to become around their average or slightly lower, with the country remaining under the influence of a weak extension of a shallow depression accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The General Directorate of Meteorology expected in its bulletin this morning that the weather will be fair in general, with the appearance of some scattered clouds and dusty mist in the eastern regions, the island and the Badia, tending to be cold at night on the mountainous heights.
The winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, moderate, with gusts exceeding 60 km/h, and the sea is light to medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to drop to become lower than their average by about 1 to 3 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, with an opportunity for local showers of rain over the coastal area and dusty mist in the eastern regions, the island and the Badia.
On Saturday, temperatures will rise again to approach their average, and the weather will be generally clear to partly cloudy over the coastal areas, with a weak chance of local rain remaining over those areas.
