Among the newly imported cases today, a 20-year-old man (case number: 11874) arrived in Hong Kong from the UK on June 8 on flight BA031.

He was asymptomatic and was tested with the L452R variant strain. He was not vaccinated.

Another confirmed case is a 51-year-old man (case number: 11875) who arrived in Hong Kong from Mauritania on flight TK083 on June 6 and checked into the Dorsett Mong Kok Hong Kong Hotel in Tai Kok Tsui after arriving in Hong Kong.

He was found to have the N501Y variant virus strain, and he was also not vaccinated.

In addition, the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health also reminded the relevant specified persons at Tower 6, Victoria Harbour, No. 11 Hoi Fai Road, Tai Kok Tsui, and Sheng Yu House, Block P, Tin Shing Court, No. 3 Tin Ching Street, Tin Shui Wai, to comply with the mandatory requirements tomorrow (11th) Test announcements to be tested.
